The ground-breaking design of the Air-Pot container has been continually refined over twenty years and is now in its sixth generation. Every detail has been enhanced to guarantee healthy root development and maximize aeration.
Why Air-Pots?
Air-Pots walls are made up of closed inward pointing cones and open-ended outward pointing cones. The plants respond to this Air Pruning by generating more roots, this leads to a fibrous root system with a vast number of active white tipped roots. Air pots are designed to continuously direct the growth of the roots toward the exterior, never allowing for roots to spiral. Air-root-pruning stimulates root branching without toxic chemicals. This way the plants can then absorb more nutrients and water which stimulates faster growth.
